Our Programs

A day at Building Blocks...

Daily age-appropriate projects are planned by the teachers for the students to explore. Important kindergarten readiness concepts are introduced and reinforced. Children work with shapes, colors, numbers, letters, and cognitive concepts. Learn about the High Reach Learning curriculum.

Ratios

Our schedule and staffing allows time for children to interact with their teachers in a small group, with a ratio of 8 to 1in our toddler classroom, and 12 to 1 in our older classrooms.

Circle Time

Circle time activities allow children to enjoy stories, songs, and conversations where concepts are explored. Movement, dance and musical instruments are also introduced. Children develop the ability to control their movements, listen, and follow directions.

Free-Choice Time

Indoor free choice activities allow children the opportunity to dress-up and act out dramatic play, build a kingdom with blocks, create original art, practice concepts by manipulating puzzles and games, and enjoy quiet time in the book corner.

Outdoor Play

Our large beautiful playground overlooking oak studded rolling hills is a great place for children to ride a tricycle, make a sand castle, play in the sprinklers, grow a garden, and slide, while keeping watch for birds, deer, and cows.

Languages

Research has shown that second language study offers many benefits to students in terms of improved communicative ability, cognitive development, cultural awareness and job opportunities.  To foster this learning, we provide an introduction to Spanish guided by the Boca Beth curriculum.
